<image:caption>Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference. Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Also known as PREHAB, short for “preventative rehabilitation”, is the part of the rehab process that happens BEFORE you get hurt. Prehab is designed to help you build activity and sport-specific strength, flexibility, mobility, coordination, balance, technique, and endurance. What this means is that Prehab programs look different for runners, athletes, swimmers, dancers, and weight lifters. Prehab is supported by research to DECREASE the risk and severity of a potential injury and also IMPROVE the recovery if you do sustain an injury. The main side-effect of Prehab is getting stronger, faster, and improving balance!</image:caption>

<image:title>Bhavik Sheth - Dr. Bhavik Sheth, PT, DPT</image:title>
<image:caption>Bhavik Sheth is the co-founder and Physical Therapist at EMI. He is specialized in Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from New York Medical College and a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Stony Brook University. Bhavik’s greatest skill as a physical therapist is performing comprehensive evaluations. He assesses a client’s abilities through movements and actions, analyses the connections between body parts, and discovers the sources of the pain, inability, or injury. With every case, he observes the whole body and finds the relationships between movement impairments from one joint leading to symptoms in another joint. These connections help Bhavik find holistic solutions for the whole person and not only a body part. His goal is to help each client return to what they love, not simply to treat an injured body part. Bhavik believes that the best treatment he provides his patients is education. His style of Physical Therapy involves asking questions and learning about his patients’ lifestyles and hobbies. With this information, he curates a specific prescription of exercises and stretches, as well as lifestyle modifications to help his patients transform their lives. His coaching style is a mix of positive reinforcement and candid feedback. Bhavik is fascinated by the healing arts, such as Yoga, Ayurveda, and Holistic medicine. He incorporates the emphasis of wellness with the methodology and framework of his Doctor of Physical Therapy education to see a person as a whole, rather than their injury. He is also passionate about sports, dance, and gymnastics as it showcases the amazing potential of the human body through movement. He feels fortunate to have found a profession where he can combine his passions and interests to connect with people and coach them through their recovery. Bhavik’s role in the medical field is that of a primary care provider for musculoskeletal conditions. Just like you go to your physician for an annual wellness examination to check your vitals and screen for medical conditions, he sees clients annually or bi-annually for physical assessments to screen them for any risk factors for injuries and to ensure that they are injury-free and thriving.</image:caption>

<image:title>Vinny Singh - Dr. Vinny Singh, PT, DPT</image:title>
<image:caption>Meet Dr. Vinny Singh, DPT Co-Founder | Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapist Vinny Singh is the co-founder and physical therapist at EMI Garden City, where he specializes in orthopedic and sports physical therapy. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University through its accelerated 3+3 Doctor of Physical Therapy program. A Movement-Focused Approach Vinny takes a comprehensive, movement-focused approach to physical therapy. Rather than simply treating the location of pain or injury, he evaluates how the entire body moves and how strength, mobility, stability, mechanics, and movement patterns interact to influence performance and injury risk. His goal is not just to help patients feel better—it is to help them understand their bodies, restore optimal movement, and perform at their highest level. Personalized Care. Individualized Results. A defining part of Vinny’s approach is his ability to listen. He takes the time to understand each patient’s goals, lifestyle, sport, occupation, and the activities that matter most to them. From there, he develops individualized treatment plans designed around the person—not simply the diagnosis. His ability to build genuine relationships with patients allows him to create an environment where patients feel heard, challenged, and confident in their recovery. Vinny’s treatment approach combines hands-on manual therapy with targeted, progressive exercise and movement training. He focuses on identifying and addressing the underlying factors contributing to pain, dysfunction, or performance limitations rather than relying on passive treatment alone. Patient education is central to his philosophy, and he works closely with each individual to develop strategies that extend beyond the clinic and into everyday life. From Rehabilitation to Performance For athletes, Vinny brings a performance-driven perspective to rehabilitation. Whether an athlete is recovering from an injury, preparing to return to competition, or looking to improve strength and movement quality, his goal is to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and performance. He believes successful physical therapy should prepare patients not only to return to what they were doing before injury, but to move with greater confidence, strength, and resilience. Vinny practices what he preaches. An avid weightlifter, he also enjoys playing soccer and beach volleyball in his free time. His passion for athletics gives him firsthand insight into the physical demands, goals, and challenges faced by active individuals and competitive athletes. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys giving back to the community and has volunteered as a high school wrestling coach. Your Physical Therapist for Life Vinny views physical therapists as primary care providers for the musculoskeletal system. Just as people see their physicians for routine wellness visits and preventative screenings, Vinny believes individuals should take a proactive approach to their movement health. Periodic movement assessments can help identify strength, mobility, balance, and movement deficits before they become injuries or limit performance. His philosophy is simple: movement is medicine. Whether his patient is an elite athlete, a weekend warrior, a busy professional, or someone simply trying to stay active and independent, Vinny’s goal is to help them move better, perform better, and stay in the game for life.</image:caption>
